Health Club Web Site
Objective: Build a Web site that re-captured the site's formerly high search engine ranking and that matched the "dynamic" image of the company.
Dynamic Fitness Group's Web site in spring 2007 contained image-based navigation and images that weren't being crawled by search engines. As a result, the company's search rank was low. The owner wanted a site that he and his staff could maintain, as well as a site with interactivity and motion.
The new site was built with centrally-controlled templates. Layout and drop-down menus are controlled by lightweight CSS, allowing the site to host rich media applications while staying within acceptable load times.
Users can search via a Google custom search application, subscribe to the company's e-newsletter, and fill out a Request Information form.
A Google site map and well-chosen keywords have restored Dynamic Fitness Center's search engine ranking, and the site's traffic is double that of the previous site.
